Single Course - Additional Exam Application

Single-Course Exam Application

This program is designed for undergraduate students who have not yet reached the maximum duration of study, have only one course remaining for graduation, or are in a position to achieve a minimum GPA of 2.00 based on the results of the single-course exam.

This program is designed for students in thesis-based master’s programs who have four courses remaining, in non-thesis master’s programs who have three courses remaining, and in doctoral programs (for those admitted with a master’s or bachelor’s degree) who have one course remzinin or who can meet the required graduation GPA through the single-course exam, provided they meet the necessary graduation requirements by the end of the fourth and sixth semesters, respectively, prior to the semester in which the qualifying exam is scheduled.

Undergraduate Single Course Exam Application Requirements

  • If the student has previously taken all courses listed in the program’s curriculum, met the attendance requirement, and is unable to meet the graduation requirement due to a single failed course,
  • If all courses in the program’s curriculum have been taken and there are no failing grades on the transcript, but the weighted cumulative GPA requirement of at least 2.00 has not been met, and passing the single-course exam for a course graded C-/D+/D would raise the weighted cumulative GPA to 2.00 or higher, thereby meeting the graduation requirements.

Application Requirements for Single-Course Graduate Exams

  • For students in thesis-based master’s programs, by the end of the fourth semester; for those in non-thesis master’s programs, by the end of the third semester; and for doctoral students admitted with a master’s or bachelor’s degree, by the end of the fourth and sixth semesters, respectively, if the graduation requirement has not been met prior to the semester in which the qualifying exam is scheduled,

  • To meet the required graduation GPA through the single-course exam.

Additional Exam Application

This applies to undergraduate students who have completed the maximum study period and are eligible for additional exam attempts to enable them to graduate.

  • Final-year students who have not graduated by the end of the maximum study period are granted two additional exam attempts for all failed courses, including those they have never taken and those they failed due to absences.
  • Students granted additional exam attempts are required to pay the tuition fee per ECTS credit for the courses they will take.
