Announcement on the 2019-2020 Spring Semester Grading System

At the 24.04.2020 dated meeting, our University Senate has taken the following decisions on the grading system to be used for the undergraduate courses so as to be applied for the 2019-2020 Academic year Spring semester in which the educational activities are conducted via distance education:

-At the end of the 2019-2020 Spring semester, following the announcement of the letter grades, the grades of the desired courses are to be changed as S/U (Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory) upon the requests of the students.

-The implementation of the S/U grades applies only to undergraduate students. The graduate students do not have the right to request changes.

-The students will be able to request grade changes for all the courses, failed or succeeded, without regard to the number of the courses.

-The applications will be made to Student Affairs Department via e-mail, through a form, between the dates of June 8-22, 2020.
