ANNOUNCEMENT FOR STUDENTS WHO WILL APPLY TO OUR UNIVERSITY WITHIN THE SCOPE OF THE LAW OF AMNESTMENT NO. 7417

 

Students who want to benefit from the Provisional Article 83 added to the Higher Education Law No. 2547 and the Law No. 7417, which was published in the Official Gazette dated July 5th 2022 and numbered 31887, must apply in person within four months from the effective date of this article (until the end of the working hours of November 7, 2022). 

 

 

Those who are doing their military service on the effective date of the law, if they apply within 2 months following their discharge, are entitled to the rights within the scope of PROVISIONAL ARTICLE 83.

Application Start Date: July 5, 2022

Application Deadline: November 7, 2022

Those Doing Military Service: Within 2 months following their discharge

 

Application and registration procedures will be done in person, and the application documents must be submitted to the Department of Student Affairs at our Başakşehir Campus within working hours.

 

As per the law, no applications will be accepted after the deadline.

 

 Those Who Can Benefit From Law OF Amnestment

 

  1. a) Those who are dismissed from bachelor, master’s, PhD degree education in all classes including preparatory classes at our university until July 5, 2022,
  2. b) Those who do not register even though they have the right to enroll in a program of our university,
  3. c) Those who apply to the Department of Student Affairs until November 7, 2022,
  4. d) Out of those doing their military service by July 5, 2022, those who apply to the Department of Student Affairs within 2 months following their discharge.

 

Those Who Will Not Benefit From Law of Amnestment

 

  1. a) Those convicted of terror within the scope of the Anti-Terror Law No. 3713 dated 12/4/1991, deliberate killing (articles 81, 82 and 83), torture (articles 94 and 95) in the Turkish Penal Code dated 26/9/2004 and numbered 5237, torment (article 96), sexual assault (article 102), sexual abuse of children (article 103), manufacture and trade of drugs or stimulants (article 188),
  2. b) Those who have been dismissed for using false or untrue documents for their registration within the scope of Acts written in Article 71 of the Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works, membership, or affiliation with terrorist organizations, structures, formations or groups determined by the National Security Council to act against the national security of the State,
  3. c) Those who have a judicial decision regarding the non-use of their Turkish citizenship rights among persons who have been/removed from the Turkish citizenship and have become a foreign national after their dismissal from our university,
  4. d) Individuals who have been dismissed from school on the grounds that they have registered through illegal means,
  5. e) Those who do not apply to benefit from the law of amnestment until November 7, 2022.

 

 Required Application Documents for the Law of  Amnestment

 

  • Application Petition
  • Original and Photocopy of ID/Passport
  • If there is a Name or Surname Change; Official Documents Regarding This Changement (Marriage Certificate, Court Order, etc.)
  • Criminal Record Document (Can Be Obtained Through E-Government)
  • High School/Undergraduate/Graduate Diploma
  • Recognition/Equivalence Certificate (For Foreign Students)
  • Photocopy of ÖSYS/YKS Placement Result Document for Candidates Who Have Been Placed in Our University By ÖSYM But Have Not Registered
  • 4 Passport Photographs
  • Military Status Document
  • Military Discharge Certificate for Those Who Are Doing Military Service
  • Turkish Personal Data Protection Law Declaration Form
  • Official Letter to Be Received From Fatih Sultan Mehmet Foundation University By the Students Who Applied for the Alliance of Civilizations Graduate School Programs for the 2016-2017 Spring Semester and Were Entitled to Enroll or Whose Registration Was Canceled Before the 2016-2017 Spring Semester.
  • Petition Regarding the Statement of Transfer for Students Who Demand Transfer to a Different University

Among those who have registered by benefiting from the amnesty application, those who have the same type of base score of the same or different diploma program as of the ÖSYS/YKS score entry year, will be able to apply for laternal transfer to one of these programs.
