NOTES

1) According to the decision of the Senate dated 16.06.2017 about trilingual education, it is necessary to have at least B2 level of language proficiency in each of the Turkish, English and Arabic languages as a condition of graduation, in all the departments of our university.
a- Curriculum of BA program in Psychology is designed in such a way that students can take Arabic courses for 4 semesters and international students can take additional Turkish courses for 4 semesters in order to meet these requirements. Enrolling only appropriate level of the language course will be provided by placement tests organized by school of languages.
b-Students who have the required level of language proficiency or who can reach that level before 4 semesters will take departmental electives stated in the curriculum instead of the Arabic courses coded ARA 301, ARA 302, ARA 303, ARA 304 and Turkish courses coded TUR 301, TUR 302, TUR 303, TUR 304.
2) To graduate, students are required to take at least one (1) elective course from separately Area 1 and Area 2 course list and two (2) elective course from Area 3 course list.
3) All undergraduate courses in undergraduate curriculums of Ibn Haldun University (including language electives) can be taken as general electives.
4) In order to graduate from the BA program in Psychology, 49 courses, of 145 credits and 240 ECTS in total, should be taken. 13 of them are university core courses and 26 of them are area courses.
